NY2012

Wow am I behind on blogging! Chris and I have both been stuck in the "bounceback" period at work. Pretty much it's the couple weeks after Christmas where we have to pull everything back together and get ready for our new fiscal year in February!

That being said...we did get to enjoy New Year's Eve and New Year's Day this year! It was our first weekend off in December and we knew we wanted to celebrate! My friend Caylin (who just got engaged at the beginning of December!!!) was going to be in town and were able to get together with her and her fiance, as well as Kelli and Chad. We had a great time! It's so funny how things change over the years. This year our NY celebration consisted of dinner at The Tasting Room and back to Caylin's finance's apartment for snacks and drinks and games! And of course, watching the ball drop on Rockin' New Year's Eve! Midnight rolled around, we watched the fireworks from a private balcony in City Centre (this super cool area near Memorial City - great restaurants, shopping, etc!), toasted to 2012 and then we were all quickly headed to bed! We truly enjoy our time that we get to spend with friends and NYE was no different! Here's to 2012!

Our First Christmas

So, let me start this off by saying that I wish I was better about taking pictures. I have been terrible about it! But, here a few gems I captured from Chris and I's first married Christmas :) And excuse the poor quality...silly iPhone :)
